EventsRez ("EventsRez", "we", "us") helps you discover event venues and book event spaces. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the EventsRez app or website, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account or sign in (including via Google).
- Booking information — the venue, room, date, time, and guest count for reservations you make or request.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain a token that lets the venue charge the card for your reservation.
- Location — if you search by a place, we convert that place into coordinates to show nearby venues. We do not track your location in the background.
- Device information — a device identifier and push token so we can send you booking notifications, plus basic technical data (app version, device type).
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and reservations.
- To process payments and, per your reservation, enable the venue to charge your saved card (typically 14 days before your event).
- To send you booking confirmations, reminders, and updates.
- To provide customer support and to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we share information
- With the venue you book — the details needed to fulfill your reservation.
- Service providers — such as Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in), and our hosting and notification providers, who process data on our behalf.
- Legal — when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile messaging (SMS)
If you opt in, EventsRez may send you SMS text messages such as one-time passwords (OTP), account and security alerts, and booking confirmations, reminders, and updates. Consenting to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We share mobile information only with providers that help us deliver the messaging service (for example, our SMS provider), solely for that purpose.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account → Delete Account) or by contacting us. When you delete your account we remove your personal profile information and revoke your saved payment method. We may retain limited records of past transactions where required for legal, tax, or legitimate business purposes.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, use the in-app controls or contact us at the address below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and secure storage of sensitive credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
EventsRez is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
