These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EventsRez app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

EventsRez is a marketplace that helps customers discover event venues and book event spaces. The venues themselves are independent businesses that provide the actual event spaces and services. EventsRez facilitates discovery, booking, and payment.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the app.

Bookings & payments

• When you place a reservation, you authorize us and our payment provider (Stripe) to securely save your payment card for that reservation.
• No charge is made at the time of booking. Your card is typically charged 14 days before the event date, after the venue confirms your reservation.
• Prices shown include the reservation amount plus applicable fees, calculated at checkout.
• The venue is responsible for delivering the booked event space and any related services.

Cancellations & changes

• You may cancel a reservation free of charge up until 14 days before the event date. Within that window, cancellations may not be available online — please contact the venue directly.
• You may request a date change; changes are subject to venue approval and availability, and any price difference is calculated at that time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or use it for unlawful purposes.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." EventsRez does not guarantee that any venue, room, or date will be available, and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of the venues. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventsRez disclaims all warranties not expressly stated here.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EventsRez will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the reservation giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
